Ms. Harder has been working full time for the Company since 2008. She is experienced in public company regulatory issues. In the past she has been involved in municipal politics (city council) and worked as a stockbroker for a prominent Vancouver firm. She is also experienced in managing private companies and entrepreneurial endeavours.
Judith is an experienced and energetic management specialist, who has, over the past 35 years, initiated intrapreneurial ventures as well as handled projects and programs for both public and private companies. She brings ten years of recent experience in business dealings in mineral property management in British Columbia, Ontario and Argentina. and She provided expertise in government, regulatory and cultural complexities, while acting as director of Cascadero Copper Corporation, a TSX listed Argentine focused Exploration Company. She was recently promoted to the position of President/CEO of Cascadero Copper.
Judith holds a BFA from the University of British Columbia, and was a Chartered Financial Advisor, having worked as an investment broker. Her skills in organization, logistics, leadership, team building and communication have effectively managed the development and profitable sales of businesses that she founded.
Judith provided a strong voice during her 12 years as a Councillor for the City of Courtenay. She is an intelligent advocate who provides leadership in a focused, creative, and collaborative manner to enable community consensus in a challenging environment.
As a conscientious community lead, Judith has founded and/or served on the Boards of several local, provincial and National organizations including the Comox Valley Community Foundation, Community Foundations of Canada, as President of the Rotary Club of West Vancouver Sunrise and the current President of the Vancouver Water Ski Club.
